Volks showroom in Tochigi prefecture's capital Utsunomiya is located in a building called Festa on one end of Oriondori arcade almost opposite of a big department store Parco(in front of the shrine).
The Festa building itself has six floors mostly with goods any Japanese animation fan would appreciate; there are action figures, cosplay costumes, CDs, games and manga books. There is also a small shop dedicated to lolita brand Baby the Stars Shine Bright (and much nicer Angelic Pretty shop could be found in the opposite building). Volks shop and showroom is on the 6th floor and because, apart from dolls, Volks also produces action figures and all sorts of models, about two third of this shop is dedicated to them. Dolls section is the one furthest in the back and it consists of both Super Dollfie and Dollfie Dream dolls. There could be probably about 20 different full dolls on display and a lot of Volks molds heads and also a couple of busts and hands.
Dolls in the central stand were sporting the newest Volks fashion and the stands are were slightly season themed.
What you can buy there: A couple of Volks clothes (SD17 set is around 7000-10000 yen), shoes, wigs, eyes and even a some re-stringing tools and face-up tools.
I just briefly browsed DD section as it had nothing interesting for me.
As I am not particulary interested in buying Volks products, I have visited the place only a couple of times. Only once I saw another customer, a lady around 40, who brought her dolls with her and took some photos of them in a display Volks has for this very reason.
